What is POLi & how do you use it?


We know that navigating a new platform can be difficult, so we've decided to make the deposit process easy through this article. As a New Zealand customer, at the current moment, credit card deposits are not available, only regular bank transfers.

Please note that we work with a domestic banking partner in New Zealand, therefore this transfer is to be treated as a domestic transfer - not an international transfer.

As a New Zealand customer, deposited funds will be credited as NZD. If you would like to trade in a different currency, all trades can be made via NZD, USD or BTC, once the initial conversion is made. This can be toggled through the ‘set your default currency’ button at the top right of the platform.

We do not charge fees for depositing in New Zealand Dollars, however all NZD withdrawals will incur a $10 NZD fee.

Please navigate to the menu by scrolling through the left-hand column where you can select QUICK DEPOSIT. From the drop-down menu, select 'Deposit NZD' as per the below attached image.

Once on this screen you will see the different options to deposit. At this current moment, Bank Transfers, Credit Card and POLi deposits are available.

Bank Transfer

Here you will see deposit details to enter from your bank's withdrawal page. Enter these details along with the amount desired to send over to Swyftx.

Please ensure these details are filled out as above for both your statement AND the receivers statement. You should ensure all fields of information include the correct entry points in the correct order, as it can be easy to place the CODE and PARTICULARS in the wrong order.

If these are not in the correct order we will not be able to credit your funds to your account automatically, and there will be a delay in receiving these funds.

Depositing from a New Zealand ANZ bank account

Please be aware that the ANZ Mobile Application has a defect in the User Interface which will affect your deposit if it's left unchecked. When entering into the Code/Particulars, a checkbox is shown stating "Same as their statement" and this checkbox is ticked by default. Please uncheck this box and enter in the details twice to avoid any issues.

NZD deposits are not instant as they are credited twice daily, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Deposits may also incur additional processing times by your bank, please allow 1-3 business days for deposits to arrive into your Swyftx account.
